Report: Real Madrid Midfield for Super Cup

With the UEFA Super Cup around the corner Real Madrid are facing difficulties to select their starting three midfielders for their game at Cardiff. Real Madrid would be taking on Sevilla to continue their run to win their third trophy under the Italian Coach.

Real Madrid will have to choose three players (if they continue with 4-3-3 formation) from their pack of these star midfielders:

PreExisting:
Isco, Illarra, Modric
New Addition:
Kroos, James Rodriguez.
About to leave but still available:
Di Maria, Khedira.
Suspended: Xabi Alonso
Left: Casmeiro

A very prominent name that will have a clear selection for the final is Luka Modric.

A report by the Spanish newspaper Marca suggests that Ancelotti spent two days working very closely with Toni Kroos. Toni Kroos seems to be the best replacement for Xabi Alonso (who is suspended by UEFA).
It's only been a week for Toni Kroos at Real Madrid. So it is not expected that he will be available for the game in top form. But the technical staff are amazed at his fitness after he retured from is holiday in good shape.

There have been no report or news that suggests a possibility for Di Maria or Khedira to participate in the finals.

After Modric and Toni Kroos, Illarra seems to be a perfect selection as a third midfielder.

The reason for not including Isco and James Rodriguez in the squad for midfielders is because the extreme possibility of Cristiano Ronaldo to miss the finals due to injury. These players could be presented as a winger in Cardiff.

So the possible midfield formation of Real Madrid would be:

Illarra-Toni Kroos- Modric
