Keylor Navas to Real Madrid from Levante

Levante and Costa Rica Goalkeeper Keylor Navas is the latest addition to Real Madrid. Los Blancos reached an agreement with Levante to pay 10 million Euros for the Costa Rican. The contract is signed till the year 2020.

The Official Statement read:

"Real Madrid C. F. and Levante U. D. have reached an agreement for the transfer of Keylor Navas, who has signed for the club for the next six seasons.
The player will be presented on Tuesday 5 August at 13:00, in the president’s box in the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, after undergoing the corresponding medical.
Subsequently, Keylor Navas will step out onto the turf in the Santiago Bernabéu for the first time in a Real Madrid shirt and will speak to the media in the press room."

Keylor Navas had been previously linked to clubs like Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.

Navas was linked to Real Madrid along with Kiko Casilla when Antena 3 reported a possible turnover strategy in the goalkeeping department of Real Madrid.

He could be possibly being replacing Diego Lopez.

He was a part of Levante when they achieved their first ever qualification for the UEFA Europa League.

Keylor Navas was an oustanding goalkeeper for Levente in La Liga (2013-14) but reached heights of popularity levels during the World Cup.
