Los Blancos will have to start their 2015 with a challenging game as they take on Valencia this Sunday at the Mestalla to play their seventeenth game in the 2014-15 season of La Liga.

The Whites will carry a 22-game winning streak into 2015. Los Blancos would be hoping to continue their victory run.

Real Madrid are currently a point ahead at the top of the table after playing one match less than their rivals, Barcelona.

Real Madrid are not the only team who have a competetive match week ahead:

Atletico Madrid vs Levante

  • Atletico Madrid are positioned third on the table and are the title defenders.
  • Levante are known to spoil the party and may force the opponent to drop points as done previously against Valencia and Real Sociedad.

Sevilla vs Celta de Vigo

  • Sevilla are positioned 6th on the table and are the Europa League title defenders and have defeated Real Sociedad, draw against Valencia. They were once positioned 2nd on the table.
  • Celta de Vigo are positioned 8th on the table and have defeated Barcelona this season.

Real Sociedad vs Barcelona

FACT: Barcelona have not won an away game against Real Sociedad in La Liga since 2010.

Valencia are currently:
  • Positioned 4th on the table.
  • Have won only 2 of their last 5 matches.
  • Have been defeated by Levante, Barcelona and Deportivo de La Coruña.
  • Lost to Barcelona only in the final seconds of the game.
  • Defeated Atlético Madrid.

The last meeting against Valencia resulted in a 2-2 draw which almost confirmed the title hopes to fade away last season. It was this same match where Ronaldo scored this amazing back heel goal.

Real Madrid players out due to injury:

Game Preview: Real Madrid vs Ludogorets Razgrad

Real Madrid will enter the Santiago Bernabau Stadium to end the Champions League group stage with another win when they take on Ludogorets Razgrad.

Real Madrid have not only secured the top spot in Group B but also are the only team in the competition to have not dropped a single point yet.

On the other hand Ludogorets Razgrad have ended their chances of entering the round of 16 of the UCL after their 2-2 draw against Liverpool. The still have a chance to enter the UEFA Europa League, but their chances depends on how well the game ends for Basel at Anfield.

To guarantee a spot in the Europa League the fans must hope for:

  • A win for Ludogorets Razard and a draw or win for Basel.
  • A draw for Ludogorets Razard and a win for Basel.
  • A loss for Ludogorets Razard and a worse defeat for Liverpool.

The last meeting with the Bulgarian side ended with Real Madrid emerging victorious after a 1-2 victory at Sofia. Cristiano Ronaldo scored an equalizing penalty in that game and Benzema registered the winning goal after making an entrance at the 66th minute of the game.

Sergio Ramos will miss the clash has he picked up a tactical yellow card and his third for the competition. He has now cleared his discipline record for the further important games.

James Rodriguez might not feature after suffering an injury to his right calf muscle.

It would be interesting to see if Ancelotti will play his first team for the final game or will drop some players due to the advent of the FIFA Club World Cup which begins for the Whites in almost a week.

Real Madrid look to continue to extend their winning streak to 19 games tomorrow.

There could be a possibility for Jese Rodriguez to start on the forward line, Keylor Navas as the Goalkeeper and Alvaro Medran for Toni Koros after half time.

If Cristiano Ronaldo(71) scores then he would break Raul's record(71) but would still be 2 behind his rival, Lionel Messi(excluding qualifying games).

If Real Madrid wins this game, then they will be the first team to win all the games of the group stage twice.
