Álvaro Morata to Juventus from Real Madrid

Real Madrid have reached an agreement with Juventus over the transfer of Álvaro Morata for a 5 year deal worth €20M with a buyback clause worth €30M.

The Official Statement read:

"Real Madrid C. F. have reached an agreement with Juventus FC to sell Álvaro Morata to the Italian club. The Whites have the option to buy the player back in the future."

Real Madrid would now be in search for a player to replace him. As mentioned by Carlos Ancelotti in one of his press conference that :

"If he(Morata) could find the chance of playing it would be good that he had the chance for a year", and further mentioned that "If Morata goes then we'll have to think about signing a similar striker with the same characteristics, a youngster."

Looking at the words of Ancelotti, Real Madrid are close to signing a young player, James Rodriguez, but only his field position is different from Morata. Also Real Madrid were close to sign Ramadel Falcao who would probably take Morata's position.

Arsenal were in race with Juventus to sign him but later Morata made it clear that he had his intensions to join Juventus.

Morata played a satisfactory roll in Real Madrid's victory in the Copa del Rey and Champions League.
